A deed dated the 31st day of July, 1933, from
NEWPORT BEACH LUMBER COMPANY, to the City of Newport Beach,
granting to the city of Newport Beach all that certain real
property situated in the City of Newport Beach, Orange County,
California, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northeasterly
prolongation of the northwesterly line of 26th Street as said
street is laid out and shown upon a map of Newport Beach, re-
corded in Book 3, page 26 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California, with the southwesterly line of
Lot 3 of Block 127 of Lake Tract, recorded in Book 4, page 13,
of Miscellaneous Maps, records ofsaid County; running thence
northeasterly along the said northeasterly prolongation of the
northwesterly line of 26th Street, 3.75 feet; thence North
830 231 East, 56.89 feet to a point in the northeasterly line
of Lot 2 of said Block 127, which point is 17.88 feet south-
east from the most northerly corner of said Lot 2; thence
south 190 421 3011 East along the northeasterly line of said
Block 127, 30.82 feet; thence south 830 231 West, 55.09 feet
to a point of intersection with the southwesterly line of said
Block227, which point is 6.41 feet northwesterly from the most
southerly corner of said Lot 2; thence northwesterly along the
southwesterly line of said Block 127 to the point of beginning.
was presented to the city Council of the city of Newport Beach,
California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman made a
motion, duly seconded by Councilman and
carried, that said Deed be accepted by the City of Newport Beach,
and the Clerk instructed to record the same forthwith with the
County Recorder of Orange County, California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote:
