RESOLUTION NO.
VMREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach did by written advertisement, offer for sale to the
highest and best bidder for cash, certain real property belonging
to said city, and in said written advertisement more particularly
described, and upon the terms and conditions set forth in said
written advertisement, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked
exhibit "A ". and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS,, all bids were rejected at a regular
meeting of the City Council held at the City Hall in the City of
Newport Beach, on Monday, the 2nd day of October, 1933, at the
hour of 7 :30 o'clock P. M., except the bid of Esther Edmonds; an
WHEREAS, said bids were rejected for the reason
that in the opinion of the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, the amounts offered were inadequate and disproportionate
to the fair market value of the properties heretofore mentioned;
and
AREAS, the bid of said Esther Edmonds is in all
respects made in accordance with the offer of said City of
Newport Beach aforesaid, and it is fair and adequate, and the
amount thereof constitutes a fair consideration for the property
hereinafter more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, said Esther Edmonds bid the sum of
$209.50 for Lots 31 and 32 in Block No. 16, Seotion 3, Balboa
Island, in the city of Newport Beach, Orange County, California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of
Newport Beach sell to the said Esther Edmonds, the said property
hereinabove described, for the sum of $209.50; and

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution Noe 799 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City-Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 2nd day of October , 19 33 , by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Gordon, Claire. Ellsworth. Garfield.

NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
