RESOLUTION NO. RAO_
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the city of Newport Beach a certain Memorandum of Agreement for
the Construction on State Highway Route 60 in the city of Newport
Beach, wherein the city of Newport Beach is referred to as the
°City° and the State of California, by the Department of Public
Works thereof, is referred to as the State; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement provides for the construction
of a grade separation on the State Highway Route 60, at 11The
Arches", using certain funds to defray the cost of the work
provided for in said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach deem it for the best interests of said city that said
Agreement be signed in accordance with its terms and conditions.
NOW2 THEREFORE, BEIT RESOLVED: That the Mayor
of the city of Newport Beach and theCity Clerk of saidCity,
be, and they are hereby instructed and authorized to sign said
eement on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
