RESOLUTION NO,
WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Ate rney
of the City of Newport Beach has prepared a contract in Which
the City of Newport Beach agrees to sell certainexcess crater
Of said city to J. A. BEEK and L -. W. BRIGGS, upon the condi-
tions, covenants and restrictions in said contract set forth;
and
WHLREAS, said contract has been duly presented. by the
City Attorney to the City Council of the City of Newport Beath, .-
for its acceptance and approval.
NOSE, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The,t that certain
contract made and entered into the 1st day of April, 1934, by
and between the City of Newport Beach, as the party of the first
part, and J.A. BEEK AND L.W. BRIGGS, as the party of the second
part, vfterein and thereby the City of Nerport Beach agrees to r-
sell certain of its excess water upon certain conditions, res-
trictiOns and limitations to said party of the second part, be
and the same is hereby approved as written.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and directed to sign ._
said contract on behalf of "'said City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that'tbe foregoing resolution :^as duly
and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newpo '
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of April,
193+, by the following vote;
