RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF
INVESTIGATION REPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach that R. L. Patterson, City Engineer, is hereby appointed
and designated to procure and prepare such information as may
be required and make the report in the form and manner as set
forth in Sec. 3 of the "Special Assessment Investigation, Li-
mitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931; and Amendments thereto,
and covering that certain proposed improvement described in the
resolution of said Council entitled "Preliminary Determination
of legislative body under 'Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 19311 and Amendments
thereto ", heretofore adopted by said Council on the 4th day
of June, 1934, which resolution is hereby referred to for a
description of the nature, location and extent of such pro-
posed improvement, of the boundaries of the district proposed
to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof, the
statute or statutes under which it is proposed to conduct
proceedings, and for all other matters contained in said
resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
thereof held the 4th day of June, 1934, by the
following vote, to -wit:
