RESOLUTION NO. _
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the city of ItiYeaport Beach
did, on the 14th day of June, 1934, present to the City Council
of the city of Newport Beach, an itemized statement of the
expenditures for street construction and maintenance on the
following named streets, to -wit: 15th Street north of Central
Avenue and Alley between 14th and 15th Streets; Alley parallel
to Ocean Avenue through blocks 23 to 30 inclusive; Alley paral
to Ocean Avenue; Alley parallel to Ocean. Avenue between Sth
and 9th Streets, through Block 7; Alley parallel to Central
Avenue,,between 8th and 9th Streets, through Tract No. 884;

WHEREAS, said City Council of the city of Newport Beach
find that each and all of said expenditures for street con-
struction and maintenance were actually necessary and said
labor and materials as in said statement shov-n, actually furnish-
ed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That said expenditures
aforesaid, for street construction and maintnenance aforesaid,
be, and the same are hereby approved as submitted by said City
Engineer of the city of Newport Beach.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That said City Engineer be,
and he is hereby directed and authorized to present to the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of California, a
request for funds to cover said expenditures, from the Gasoline
Fund Tax of the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That the Mayor of the City of
Newport Beach be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
approve in writing, said written expenditure, and that an
itemized statement of said expenditures, in the total sum of
x;945.18, signed by said Mayor and City Engineer, be submitted

and filed with the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange,
in connection with this Resolution, and that a certified copy of
this Resolution be filed therewith.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resoluticn
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
of the city of Newport Beach, at a meeting thereof, held
