WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the city of Newport Beach

did, on the 14th day of June, 1934, present to the City Council
6
of the city of Newport Beach, an itemized statement of the
7
expenditures for street construction and maintenance on the
8
following named streets, to -wit; Surf Avenue; Ocean Avenue;
9
San Bernardino Avenue, Riverside Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue; and
10
AREAS, said City Council of the city of Newport Beach
11
finds that each and all of said expenditures for street con -
12
struotion and maintenance were actually necessary and said labor
13
and materials as in said statement shown, actually furnished,
14
NOSY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED; That said expenditures
15
aforesaid, for street construction and maintenance aforesaid,
16
be, and the same are hereby approved as submitted by said City
17
Engineer of the city of Newport Beach.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said City Engineer be,
19
and he is hereby directed and authorized to present to the Board
20
of Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of California, 'k
21
request for funds to cover said expenditures, from the Gasoline
22
Fund Tax of the County of Orange.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; That the Mayor of the city of
24
Newport Beach be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
25
approve in writing, said written expenditure, and that an
26
itemized statement of said expenditures, in the total sum of
n
27
01199.92, signed by said Mayor and City Engineer, be submitted
28
and filed with the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange,
29
in connection with this Resolution, and that a certified copy of
30
this Resolution be filed therewith.
