RESOLUTION NO. R'y
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
C uncil of the City of Newport Beach, a certain deed dated the
day of`.,� 1935, wherein the City of Newport
Beach, a municipal cdrporation of the sixth class, is referred
to as Grantor, and the State of California is referred to as the
Grantee; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach, in said deed,
grants, conveys and dedicates to the said State of California,
the right of way and incidents thereto for public highway purposes
upon, over and across the lands hereinafter described, lying
and being in the County of Orange, State of California, and
particularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot 172 of Block 1 of Irvinets
Subdivision as shown on map recorded in Book 1, page
88 of Miscellaneous Maps, as described in deed record-
ed in Book 403, of Deeds, page 137, all records of
said Orange County.
And WHEREAS, said highway right of way in said deed
granted is in said deed more particularly described and set forth;
WHEREAS, it is for the best interests of the City of
Newport Beach that said deed be executed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said Highway
Deed be, and the same is hereby

authorized and directed to sign
