RESOLUTION NO A
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach certain indentura of lease contract
dated the 28th day of May, 1935s wherein Byron- Jackson Corporatio
of Los Angeles is therein designated party of the first part, and
the City of Newport Beach is therein designated party of the
second part, and
WHEREAS, said contract relates and refers to the purchase
by the City of Newport Beach under time payment plan of certain
personal property therein described and more particularly dds-
cribed as follows, to -wit:
One - Six Inch Byron Jackson Type "S" Horizontal
Centrifugal Pump, with extended cast iron
baseplate, and including
One - 100 HP, General Electric, horizontal sleeve
bearing, squirrel cage induction motor, 1460
RPM, 440 volt, 50 cycle, 3 phase
One - G$ -7006 General Electric Magnetic Starter
for operation of the above motor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach declare %that said contract aforesaid is
in form and contents as agreed upon and that said personal pro-
perty therein described shall be purchased upon the terms and
conditions therein specified, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of
the City of Newport Beach execute said contract on behalf of said
City of Newport Beach in duplicate, and that an original and
duplicate thereof be filed by the City Clerk.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of June,
1935; by theefollowing vote,
to -wit:
