RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Oouncil
of the City of Newport Beach a Supplemental Agreement, dated
the day of
, 1935, by and between the
Southern Pacific Company, a corporation, and its Lessor, Southern
Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation, in said agreement
referred to as the party of the first part, and County of Orange,
a political subdivision of the State of California, and City of
Newport beach, a Municipal corporation of the State of
California, in said agreement referred to as second party; and
WHEREAS, said Supplemental Agreement provides that
an original indenture dated April 16th, 1934, between the
parties hereto, granting the second party certain rights, be
extended to and including the let day of December, 1935; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed for the benefit and best interests
of the City of Newport Beach that said Supplemental Agreement
be entered into, by the City of Newport Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said Supplemental
Agreement be, and the same is hereby approved as written, by the
City Council of the city of Newport Beach, and the Mayor and City
Clerk of said city shall, and they are hereby authorized and di-
rected to sign the same on behalf of said City, and deliver a
duly executed copy thereof to the party of the first part.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at_a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of
August, = 193x5, by the following vote, to -wit:
