0 <br />1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />RESOLUTION NOo_ 1 0. <br />RESOLUTION AND ORDER APPOINTING THE <br />CITY ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF NEVI Q3 T <br />BEACH, CALIFORNIA, TO PROCURE AND <br />PREPARE CERTAIN INFORMATION AND REPORT <br />PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE <br />"SPECIAL ASSESSMFN T INVESTIGATION, <br />LIMITATION AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT <br />OF 1931," APPROVED June S. 19312 AS <br />AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, it is contemplated and it is the inten- <br />tion of the City of Newport Beach proceeding under the Improve- <br />ment Act of 1911, as amended, to carry through proceedings for <br />the construction of a wooden bulkhead and appurtenances to <br />protect Channel Road and other property in the City of Newport <br />Beach from over -flow of w ater, said bulkhead to be constructed <br />adjacent and contiguous to Block P of Tract No. 508, all within <br />the City of Newport Beach, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the "Special <br />Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act <br />of 1931," approved June S, 1931, as amended, the City Council <br />of the City of Newport Beach desires certain information and <br />report with respect to the proposed improvements; <br />NOW, THIREFOEE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Engineer <br />of the City of Newport Beach be and he is hereby ordered to <br />furnish to the City Council of said City, a written report <br />upon the proposed improvements herein mentioned, pursuant to <br />the provisions of Sections 2 and 3 of the said "Special Assess- <br />ment Investigation,'Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931," <br />approved June S, 1931, as amendedo <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution and <br />order was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the <br />
