CALI . RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach an agreement wherein the City of Newport Beach is designated as the party of the first part, and C. E. McFarland is designated as the party of the second part; and WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the party of the first part, as owner of a certain pier or wharf in the city of Newport Beach, extending out into the waters of the Pacific Ocean, grants to the party of the second part the exclusive right and privilege of loadirg and unloading passengers to and from said pier, to his stationary fishing barges anchored off the shore line of the City of Newport Beach; and WHEREAS, said second party is given said license for a period of two years from November 30th, 1935, at the yearly rental of $10.00, payable in advance, upon the terms and conditi in said license agreement set forth; and WHEREAS, it is deemed for the best interests of said City of Newport Beach that said license be granted as aforesaid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed and authorized to execute said license agreement in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that a duly executed copy thereof be delivered to the second party. I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolut was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of .the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of December, 1935, by the following vote, to —wit: �✓ AYES COUNCILMEN• City Clerk NOES, COUNCILMEN: no ABSENT, COUNCILMEN:
