RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain lease dated the let day of February, 1936, being lease No. 9445, by and between the Pacific Electric Railway Company, a corporation, first party, and in said lease called "Company ", and City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation, second party, in said lease called "Lessee "; and WHEREAS, said lease provides that said Lessee leases from the Company the following described portion of the property of said Company at or near Newport Beach Station, Newport Beach Line, Orange County, California, to -wit: Two (2) five foot strips of Pacific Electric Railway Company's Newport Beach Line right of way, north and south sides of Tracts, between Alvarado and 26th Streets, Newport Beach, California, the location of said premises being more particularly shown on blue print attached to said lease, from the 1st day of February, 1936, to the 31st day of January, 1941, upon the terms and conditions and for the consideration in said lease set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach deems that it is for the best interests andbenefit of said City of Newport Beach that said lease be executed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Maypr and City Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said lease on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the said Company.
