RESOLUTION NO. � 0 0 �,
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach, a certain lease wherein the City
of Newport Beach is designated as the party of the first part,
and D. A. Bear and Harvey L. Bear, are designated as the parties
of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said lease provides that the party of the j
first art lease to the
p parties of the second part, for a period I
of three years, commencing as of the 1st day of October, 1936, andi
ending as of the 30th day of September, 1939, that certain 29.528
i
acre tract of land belonging to the City of Newport Beach
and in said lease more particularly described, under the terms,
consideration and conditions in said lease set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
lease be entered into with said D. A. Bear and Harvey L. Bear,
under the terms, consideration and conditions mentioned therein
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directs
and aughotized to execute said lease on behalf of the City of New-
port Beach, and that the Clerk deliver a copy thereof to the
parties of the second part when said parties of the second part
shall have executed said lease in duplicate.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution',
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
5th day of October, 1936, by the following Xoty_e, to -wit:
