3 RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
4 Newport Beach, California, having in open session on the
5 11th day of January, 1937, opened, examined and publicly
6 declared all sealed proposals or bids for the following
7 work to be done and improvements to be made, to -wit:
8 The construction of Sanitary Sewer Mains, Sewage
9 Disposal Plant and appurtenances, Sewage Pumping Stations
10 and appurtenances, and other work and improvement incidental
11 thereto, as called for and in the manner designated in
12 and in strict conformity with the plans and specifications
13 adopted by the City Council of said City on December 23,
14 1936.
15 Said City Council hereby rejects all the said
16 proposals or bids except the next hereinafter mentioned,
17 and hereby awards the contract for the said work and improve -
18 ment to the lowest regular responsible bidder, to -wit: To
19 DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY2. Little Rocks Ark.
20 at the prices named in its bid for the said work, on file in
21 the office of the City Clerk of the said City.
22 The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Newport Beadh
23 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract
24 in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach
25 with the Drainage Construction Company for the said work
26 and improvement, subject to the City Attorneys approval of
27 the contract as to form.
28 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
29 Newport Beach, California, this 13th day of January, 1937,
30 by the following vote, to -wit:
