RESOLUTION NO._
A Quitclaim deed dated the 16th day of December,
1939 from JOHN A: ENGEL, to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a municipa:
corporation of the sixth class, remising, releasing and quitclaim
ing to the City of Newport Beach all that certain real property
situated in the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Lots 126 and 127, except that portion of Lot 127,
described as follows: Commencing at most Westerly
corner of lot 127, Block A. East Newport, as shown on
a Map recorded in Book 3, page 37 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, said point being
intersection of Northerly line of Bay Avenue and
Easterly line of Lindo Avenue; thence Easterly 26
f4et to a point in Northerly line 'of said Bay Avennue;
thence on a curve to right radius of which is 8.45 feet
to a point in Easterly line of said Lindo Avenue; thence
South - westerly along Easterly line of said Lindo Avenue
26 feet to point of commencement; all in Subdivision
of Block "A ", East Newport, as shown on a Map recorded
.in Book 4, page 51 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California.
was presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman made a motion,
duly seconded by Councilma 'i and carried, that said
Quitclaim deed be accepted by the City of Newport Beach, and that
the City Clerk be instructed to record the same forthwith with
the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
