A Quitclaim Deed dated the 2nd day of January, 1940,
from AGNES MARLOW to the CITY.OF NEWPORT BEACH, a municipal
corporation of the sixth class, remising, releasing and quitclaim -
ing to the City of Newport Beach all that certain real property
situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Lots 11 and 12, Block 140, Canal Section, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 99 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman 11? made a motion,
duly seconded by Councilman and carried that said
Quitclaim Deed be accepted by the City of Newport Beach, and that
the City Clerk be instructed to record the same forthwith with the

County Recorder of Orange County, California.
