RESOLUTION NO.�

WHEREAS, RICHARD H. ROGERS and ANN W. ROGERS, husband
2
and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
3
sum of $175.00 for Lot 15, Block 431, Lancaster Addition, in the
4
city of Newport Beach, as shown on Map recorded in Book 5, page
5
'
14 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; an
6
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as
7
and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9
deems that it is for the best interests of-said City that said
10
property be sold for the said sum of $175.00; and
11
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT,RESOLVED: That said property be
15
sold to the said Richard H. Rogers and Ann W. Rogers, husband and
16
wife, for the sum of $175.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
17
subject to the second half of taxes for the fiscal year 1939 -40
18
and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to
19
conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
20
and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
21
and deliver a deed for said.property to the said parties upon
22
receipt of the consideration above set forth.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
24
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
25
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
26
held.on the 15th day of January, 1940, by the following vote, to -wi
