A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

NEWPORT BEACH, ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
6
Beach duly caused notice to be given for the doing of certain
7
work of improvement in the City of Newport Beach, which work
8
of improvement is hereinafter more particularly mentioned; and
9
WHEREAS, the work of improvement so advertised
10
by the said City Council of the city of Newport Beach was the
11
furnishing of all tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, labor
12
and materials necessary to perform and complete in a good and
13
workmanlike manner, the work of constructing two (2) ocean piers
14
and appurtenances and other work and improvement incidental
15
thereto, as called for, and in the manner designated in, and
16
in strict conformity with, the plane and specifications adopted
by the City Council of the city of Newport Beach, California,
17

which plane and specifications are entktled respectively:

was the successful lowest responsible bidder, and the lowest
bidder for the doing of said work of improvement so advertised
as aforesaid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the city of Newport Beach does hereby accept the bid of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said

directed, authorized and instructed to execute the contract for
the doing of said work of improvement, in the name ofand on

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned
regular meeting thereof held on the 16th day of January, 1940,
