1 RESOLUTION N0. �1 n:6—
2 WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the day of
3 February, 1940, from the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal
411 corporation, to Ruby Suman, a single woman, granting to said Ruby
5 II Suman all that certain real property situated in the city of
611 Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
7 particula3y described as follows:
8 Lot 8 in Block 438 of Corona Del Mar, as per map
recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous
9 Maps, Records of said County.
10 Together with the southwesterly 16 feet of the North..
westerly one —half of the alley lying southeasterly
11 of and adjoining said lot, as shown on said Map,
12 was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
14 offered for said Grant Deed is fair, just and adequate and not
15 disproportionate to the actual value of said property; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of saldCity that said Grant
17
18 Deed be executed in favor of Ruby Suman by the Mayor and City Clerk
19 of said city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
20
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed
21
22 and instructed to execute said Grant Deed on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is instructed to deliver the same
23
to Ruby Suman.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
25
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
26
the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
27
5th day of February, 1940,
