RESOLUTION NO. 1 1 0
WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated the day of
February, 1940, from the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal
corporation, to Ruby Suman, a single woman, granting to said Ruby
Suman all that certain real property situated in the city of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot 2 in Block "R" of Tract No. 323,
as per map recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Coast Boulevard Street line,
said point being located a.distahce of 195 feet in a
Northerly direction along said street line from the
Southerly corner of Lot 5 in Block "R" of said Tract
No. 323; said southerly corner being the intersection
of Coast Boulevard and Marguerite Avenue; thence in a
Northerly direction along the Coast Boulevard street
line a distance of 25 feet; thence in an Easterly
direction along a line parallel with the Northerly line
of said Lot 2 to a point in the rear lot line of said
Lot 2; thence southeasterly and southwesterly along
the rear lot line of said Lot 2 to a point of inter-
section with a line drawn from the point of beginning
Northeasterly and parallel with the Northerly line of
said Lot 2; thence southwesterly to the point of be-
ginning.

Was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
offered for said Grant Deed is fair, just and adequate and nct
disproportionate to the actual value of said property,. and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
Grant Deed be executed in favor of Ruby Suman by the Mayor and
City Clerk of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of NewportBeach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Grant Deed
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is
instructed to deliver the sameto Ruby Suman.
