1 WHEREAS, Mrs STELLA H. LARSEN, a widow, has this day
2 offered to the City of Newport Beach, the sum of ?$150.00 for Lot 1;
3 lock 232, Lake Tract, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on Lt
4 recorded in Book 4 p page /3 of records of
5 range County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7 ELs and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 Jeems that it is for the beet interests of said City that said
10 ronerty be sold for the said sum of 8150.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 nd is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 bove described,
1411 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15 cold to the said Mrs. Stella H. Larsen, a widow, for the sum of
f6 150.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the second
17 alf of the taxes for the fiscal year 1939 -40, and unpaid improve-
18 Pent assessments of record. Also subject to conditions, restric-
19
ions and
reservations
of
record.
The
Mayor
and the City
Clerk

authorized
and
directed
to
execute
and deliver
a deed
21 or said property to the said party upon receipt of the considera-
22 tion above set forth.
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED* That the sum of $15.00 be paid.
�4 o Eugene Elliott, as and for his commission for the negotiating
25 f the sale of said real property to Stella H. Larsen, a. widow,
26 aid sum being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in
27 paid sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City
28 Pf Newport Beach.
