RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions, the City Attorney
of the City of Newport Beach has prepared an agreement in
which THE AMERICAN RUBBER MANUFACTURING CO., agrees to sell
and furnish to the City of Newport Beach 2,000 feet of 2 -h"
fire hose at the price and on the conditions in said agree-
ment mentioned.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that said agreement be-
tween THE AMERICAN RUBBER MANUFACTURING CO., and the City of
Newport Beach, dated the 11th day of March, 1940, wherein and
whereby the City of Newport Beach agrees to purchase and The
American Rubber Manufacturing Co., agrees to sell to said
City certain fire hose upon the conditions and covenants
therein set forth, be and the same is hereby approved.
Be it further resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach be authorized and instructed
to sign said agreement on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach at an adjourned meeting thereof held on
the 11th day of March, 1940, by the following vote, to —wit:

Brown and Mayor, William-
son.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
