CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 1 WHEREAS, by virtue of Traffic Ordinance No. -� k d and amendments thereto,of the city of Newport Beach, the City Council ofthe City of Newport Beach'isauthorized to prohibit and limit parking of automobiles on certain streets in said City; and WHEREAS, under said Ordinance No. 3 , the City Council of.said City of Newport Beach is authorized to limit parking on said streets by Resolution duly passed by said City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That parking of automobiles and other vehicles is hereby prohibited on the Norther ly and southerly side of the Westerly and Easterly approaches to the bridge connecting Tract No. 907, known as Lido Isle to the mainland, on that certain street or highway located in the City of Newport Beach and known and designated as Via Lido. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Chief of Police of the City of Newport Beach be, and he is hereby directed, instructed and authorized to post said approaches to said bridge by appropriate signs showing that parking on said approaches is absolutely prohibited. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly passed by the City Council of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of June, 1940, by the following vote, to —wit: AYES, COUNCILMEN: NOES, COUNCILMEN: ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: ,City Clerk Mayor
