2 WHERwes, a certain Quitclaim Deed dated the 3rd day of June, 1940
Alh� 3 from the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a Municipal Corporation of the sixth class,
IV 4 to GRIFFITH COMPANY, quitclaiming, releasing and remising to the said GRIFFITH
5 COMPANY, all that certain real property situated in the City of Newport Beach,
6 County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as
7 follows:
8 Lot 98, Tract No. 907, as shown on a Map recorded
9 is Book 28, pages 25 to 36 inc., of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
10 was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; and
11 SEAS, the City Council deems that the consideration offered for
12 said Quitclaim Deed is fair, just and adequate and not disproportionate to the
13 actual value of the interest which the City of Newport Beach has in and to
14 said property; and
15 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that it
16 is for the best interests of said city of Newport Beach that said Quitclaim
17 Deed be executed in favor of Griffith Company, by the Mayor and City Clerk of
18 said City.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the
20 City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed and authorized to
21 execute said Cit uitclaim deed on behalf of the
Q y of Newport Beach, and the
22 City Clerk is instructed to deliver the same to Griffith Company.

25 and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
26 Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on June 3, 19 D by he following ALLEN
