1 . 7EREAS, a certain Quitclaim Deed dated the 3rd day of
2 June, 1940 from the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a Municipal Corporation
3 of the sixth class to CAROLINE PRIM LE quitclaiming, ng, releasing
4 and remising to the said Caroline Pringle, all that certain real
5 property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
6
State of California, and more particularly described as follows:

Lot One (1) in Block "R" of Tract No. 470, as shown
8 on a Map recorded in Book 17, page 28 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.

as presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; and

WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
11
ffered for said Quitclaim Deed is fair, just and adequate and not
12
isproportiora to to the actual value of the interest which the Cit)
13
f Newport Beach has in and to said property; and
14
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
15
eems that it is for the best interests of said di$y of Newport
16
each that said Quitclaim deed be executed in favor of Caroline
17
ringle, by the Mayor and City Clerk of said City.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
19
20 Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directs
21 and authorized to execute said Quitclaim deed on behalf of the Cit
22 of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is instructed to deliver the
23 same to Caroline Pringle.
24 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
25 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
26 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
27 June 3, 1940 by the following vote, to -wit:
