1 RESOLUTION NO.JOU
2 WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City.
3 Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain agreement dated
4 the 3rd day of February, 1941, wherein the City of Newport Beach,
5 is designated the party of the first part and Keith Spalding, is
6 designated the party of the second part; and
7 WHEREAS, in the opinion and judgment of the City Council
8 said agreement is in all respects fair and gust, and the consider -
9 ations therein mentioned, as passing between the respective partiee
10 are in all respects adequate; and
11 WHEREAS, it is further the judgment of the City Council
12 that it is for the best interests of said city that said contract
13 be executed in the form presented.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
15 Clerk of the City of Newport Beach.be, and they are hereby iri-
16 structed, authorized and directed to execute said contract in the
17 name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That a duly executed copy of
said agreement be delivered to the said, Keith Spalding, and the
other copy, thereof, filed in the records of the City Clerk of the
City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly passed, adopted and approved by.the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
3rd. day_of February, 1941.
