2 WHEREAS, a Grant Deed from MARY GRACE RENDLEMAN, a widow,
3 to the City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation, dated the
4 11th day of January, 1941, granting to the City of Newport Beach
5 all that certain real property situated in the City of Newport
6 Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and more particular-
7 ly described as follows, to -gait:
8 The right of way for alley purposds and public utility pur-
poses, over, upon., under and across all of the south one -half of
9 that certain alley, 20 feet in width, adjoining Lot 17 in Block
109 of Section B. Newport Beach, as shown on a map recorded in
10 Book 4, page 27 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.

12 was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
13 California; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deer
15 that the consideration for said deed is fair, just and adequate.
16 WHEREUPON, Councilman &6ap0_- made a motion,
17 duly seconded by Councilman and carried, that
18 said Grant Deed be accepted by said city, and the City Clerk in-
19 structed to record the same forthwith with the County Recorder of
20 Orange County, California.
21 That said motion was carried by e following vote, to -wit:
