1 RESOLUTION N0. L
2 WHEREAS there has this day been presented to the City
3 Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain Conditional Sale
4 Contract dated February 27th, 1941, by and between Theodore Robins
5 as Seller, and the City of Newport teach as Buyer; and
6 WHEREAS, said contract provides that the Seller sells to
7 the Buyer one new Ford Deluxe Sedan, Motor No. 11A - -, upon the
8 following payments: Trade -in, 1939 Ford Standard Sedan, at 0525.00
9 and two payments of $290.92 each, commencing as of March 3, 1941;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, it is the judgment of the City Council of the
12 City of Newport Beach that said Ford Automobile be purchased upon
13 the terms and conditions specified.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
15 Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed
16 instructed and authorized to execute said Conditional Sale Contract
17 in the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and that
18 the City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Seller
19 therein named.
20 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
21 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
22 the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
23 3rd day of March, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
