RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been Presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain Conditional Sale
Contract dated April 7th, 1941, between Theodore Robins as Seller
and the city of Newport Beach as Purchaser; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that the Seller sells to
the Purchaser one new Ford Pickup, Motor No. 18- 6346984, for the
sum of $743.52, payable as follows: $295.00 on May 5, 1941,
$295.00 on June 5th, 1941, and $153.52 on July 5th, 1941, as in
said contract set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city of Newport
Beach that said automobile be purchased from the Seller upon the
terms and conditions in said Conditional Sales Contract specified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, instructed and authorized to execute said contract in
the name of the city of Newport Beach and that the City Clerk
deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Seller therein named.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the city Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day of
April, 1941, by the following vote,
