I ( I WHEREAS, it is the intention of the County of Orange to widen a portion of that certain highway commonly known as HARBOR BOULEVARD, in the Fifth Road District; and WHEREAS, the necessary right of way for said widening is more particularly described as follows, to -wit: A strip of land eighty (80) feet in width and being forty (40) feet on each side of the following described center line: Beginning at a point in the East line of Section 33, T. 5 S., R. 10 W., S.B. B. & M., said point being tYe point of intersection of the center lines of those certain public highways commonly known as HARBOR BOULEVARD and HUNTZINGER AVENUE, as now laid out, and running thence, from said point of beginning N. 10 201 3011 E., along the East line of said Section 33, 2319.44 feet to a point in the center line of TALBERT AVENUE; thence N. 10 191 4511 E., 3958.44 feet to the South- west corner of the Northwest one - quarter (NWi) of the Northwest one-quarter (N:7 *) of Section 27, T. 5 S., R. 10 W.;. thence, con- tinuing N. 19 191 45" E., 52.78 feet to the point of beginning of the right of way described in deed to Orange County recorded in Book 655, page 431, Official Records of Orange County, California; thence, following along the center line described in said Deed to Orange County, N. 10 191 4511 E., 437.69 feet to the beginning of a curve tangent, concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 1000 feet; thence, Northerly along said curve, through a central angle of 160 561 5711, 295.82 feet to a line tangent; thence N. 150 371 1211 W., along said tangent line, 40.00 feet to "Point A11 as described in said Deed to Orange County; thence continuing N. 150 371 12" W., 120.00 feet to "Point B" as described in said deed to Orange County; V1• And WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach believes that it is for the best interests and welfare of the city of Newport Beach that said Deed of Right of Way be signed, granting to the County of Orange a certain portion of its property heretofore described, for the purpose of widening Harbor Boulevard. 1. . s C1 1 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 r.4 NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the consideration for said easement is in all respects fair, just and adequate and that it is for the best interests of said city that said easement be given for the purpose of widening Harbor Boulevard. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed, authorized and instructed to execute said easement in the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and after the same shall have been executed that said easement be r to the Road Department of the County of Orange for necessary recor ing. 13 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing 14 resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the 15 City Council of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting 16 thereof held on the 7th day of April, 1941, by the following 17 vote, to —wit: 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 2& 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 LAW OFFICES OF ROLAND THOMPSON RIO 8N.G ..
