WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain agreement dat
January 4, 1943, wherein the city of Newport Beach is referred to
as the party of the first part, and R. W. McClellan, is referred
to as the party of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the first party
leases to the party of the second part all that certain real pro-
perty situated in Newport Beach, Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Lots 8 and 9 and the southeasterly 60 feet of
Lot 10 in Block 227, Section "A ", Newport Beach,
for the rent or sum of $100.00 per year, for a one -year term,
said premises to be used for the storage of building materials;and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion and judgment of the City
Council that it is for the best interests of the City of Newport
Beach that said premises be leased to second party upon the
terms and conditions and for the consideration therein stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
1ICity Clerk of the City of NewportBeach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said lease agreement

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
1Iresolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
(Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 4th day of January, 1943, by the following vote, toy -wit:
