WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Corporation Grant
Deed dated the 5th day of November, 1942, from the EL ROYALE
CORPORATION, a corporation, wherein said E1 Royale Corporation
grants to the City of Newport Beach all that certain real property
situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the Southerly
prolongation of the Easterly line of 14th Street with the
South line of Ocean Avenue L65 feet in width) as said street
and avenue are shown on the Map of Section "B4 of Fewport
Beach, recorded in Book 4, page 27 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, California; running thence South-
erly along the Southerly prolongation of the Easterly line of
said 14th Street a distance of 250 feet; thence Westerly
along a line parallel with, and 250 feet distant Southerly
from, the South line of said Ocean Avenue a distance of 980
feet, more or less, to the point of intersection with the
Southerly prolongation of the Westerly line of 16th Street
in said City; thence Northerly along the Southerly prolonga-
tion of the Westerly line of said 16th Street to the point
of intersection with the South line of said Ocean Avenue; and
thence Easterly along said line a distance -of 980 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning.
Subject to taxes, conditions, reservations, restrictions ,
and rights of record.
WHEREUPON, Councilman WNA't?' made a
motion, duly seconded by Councilman 3 ,e It and
carried, that said Grant Deed be accepted by said City of Newport
Beach, and the Clerk instructed to record the same forthwith with
the County Recorder of the County of Orange, State of California.
That said motion was carried by the following vote, to -wit:
