WHEREAS, JOHN TRAVIS RATTERREE and EUNICE FAITH RATTERREF

husband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEAC
4
5 the sum of $175.00 for Lot 12, Block 635, Corona del Mar, in the
6 City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages
7 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California; and
8
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13 property be sold for the said sum of $175.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
above described.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said John Travis Ratterree and Eunice Faith Ratterree,
19 husband and wife, for the sum of $175.00, free and clear of all
20 encumbrances, subject to the becondfhalf"offthe taxes for the
21 fiscal year 1942 -43 and unpaid improvement assessments of record.
22 Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record
23 The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
24 execute and deliver a deed for saidproperty to the said parties
25 upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $43.75 be paid
27 to W. J. Holcomb, as and for his commission for the negotiating of
28 the sale of said real property to John Travis Ratterree and Eunice
29 Faith Ratterree, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair
30 and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said
31 broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
4th day of January, 1943, by the following vote, to -wit:
