GAY and MURIEL GAY, husband and 3 • wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum 4 iof $650.00 Lot 3, Block 53; and Lot 2, Block 57; all in Ocean 5 Front Tract, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map 6 recorded in Book 4, page 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of 7 Orange County, California; and 8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price 9 as and for the purchase price of said lots; and 10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach 11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said 12 property be sold for the said sum of $650.00; and 13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate 14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property 15 above described. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be 17 sold to the said Charles L. Gay and Muriel Gay, husband and wife, 18 for the sum of $650.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject 19 to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1943 -44 and 20 unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to condit- 21 ,ions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the 22 City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and delive3 23 a deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the 24 25 consideration above set forth. BE IT FUi.�THER RESOLVED: That the sum of $100,00 be paid 26 27 to C. F. Dennison, as and for his commission for the negotiating of the sale of said real property to Charles L.
