RESOLUTION N0. 10
1 WHEREAS, Hugh A. Eatus, a single man, has this day
2 offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $10,000.00 for
3 Lots 2, 39 4, 5, 6, 7 and S. Block 22, Newport Beach Tract, in
4 the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3,
5 iPage 26 of Miscellaneous Mapa, records of Orange County,
6 California; and
7 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10 deems that it is for the beat interests of said City that said
11 property be sold for the said sum of $10,000.00, and
12 WHEREAS, the price offered is dust, fair, and adequate
13 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14 above desefibed.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16 sold to the said Hugh A. Estus, a single man, for the sum of
17 $10,000.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
18 second half of 1944 -45 taxes. Also subject to conditions, re-
19 strictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
20 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
21 a deed for the said property to the said party upon receipt of
22 the consideration above set forth.
23 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
24 as duly and regularly g y passed and adopted by the City Council of
25 the City of Newport Beach, at a regular meeting thereof held on
