RESOLUTION
WHEREAS there has been presented this day to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a conditional sales contract
:wherein the City of Newport Beach agrees to purchase, under the
terms and conditions thereof, a new Ford 8 8- Cylinder truc$ chassis
with cab and trash body and hoist, Yanufacturer's Serial Number
99T- 606809, Motor No. 606509, for the sum of $2,758.54; and
',IHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
believes that the price agreed to be paid for said truck is the
reasonable and market value thereof, and that said truck is
needed by the City for municipal purposes; and
6'HEREAS, the City Council further believes that it is for
the best interest of the City that said truck be purchased for the
price mentioned and upon the terms therein set forth,
HOY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the mayor and city
clerk of the City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed and
instructed to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach in duplicate, and that one fully executed copy thereof be
filed in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
Of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day
of February, 1945, by the following vote, to -wit:
