RESOLUTION N0. !-L,_
1 WHEREAS, Daniel F. Halpin and Hazel Louise Halpin, husband
2 and wife as point tenants, offered to the City of Newport Beach
3 the sum of $225.00 for Lot 16, Block 43, River Section, in the
4 City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4,
5 Page 25 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orarge County,
6 California; and
7 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach by Resolution No. 3062,
8 duly passed and adopted, accepted said offer of Daniel F. Halpin
9 and Hazel Louise Halpin, husband and wife as point tenants; and
10 WHEREAS, said Daniel F. Halpin and Hazel Louise Halpin,
11 have only paid on account of the purchase price aforesaid, the
12 sum of $20.00, and have wholly failed, neglected and refused to
13 pay the balance of $205.00, although demand has been trade upon
14 them on numerous occasions to pay the balance due as aforesaid.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said Resolution No.

3062 aforesaid, be and the same is hereby rescinded and declared
17
of no further force or effect for any purpose whatever.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sale of said property
19
heretofore mentioned, to the said Daniel F. Halpin and Hazel
20
Louise Halpin, be, and the same is hereby cancelled as of this
21
date, and the moneys heretofore paid thereon by the said Daniel
22
F. Halpin and Hazel Louise Halpin to the City of Newport Beach,
23
are hereby declared to be forefeited to the said City of Newport
24
Beach for the failure of said Daniel F. Halpin and Hazel Louise
25
26 1 Halpin to pay the balance of said purchase price aforesaid.
27 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
28 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
29
