RESOLUTION NO.8
WHEREAS, there has been this day presented to the City
of Newport Beach a certain Release of Lease Agreement No d -2841
between City of Newport Beach and the United States of America,
covering the southwesterly 50 feet of Ocean Boulevard extending
between the southwesterly prolongations of the northwesterly line
and the southeasterly line of Poineetta Avenue in the City of
Newport Beach, California, for Coastal Lookout Station site; and
WHEREAS, the Navy Department has surrendered and re-
delivered possession of said described premises to the City of
Newport Beach on February 28, 1945;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that it is for the
beet interests of said City that said Release be given as
by the United States of America;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed and instructs
to sign said Release on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
