3 the State of California in and for the County of Orange, action-

the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,

and more particularly described as follows, to -wit;

Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Block 337 of I'Canal
Section, Newport B 'each °, as shown on a 11ap

recorded in Book' 4, page 98 of Miscellaneous
I.faps, records of Orange County, California.

WHEREAS, the defendants in said action are record owners
11
of said real property; and
12
I'`EREAS, the City of Newport Beach has been offered for
13
all of its right, title and interest in and to said real property
14
the sum of Fifteen Hundred Dollars (61500.00); and
15
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
16
deems that said price is just, fair and adequate for the interest
17
18
which said city may have in said property, and that it will be for
19
the best interests and benefit of said City that. said City dispose
20
of its right, title and interest in said property in order that
21
the said property may again be placed on the assessment rolls
22
where it will bear its just burden of taxation;
23
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a certain Stipula-
24
tion entered into by and between the plaintiff in the action
25
herein mentioned and the defendants herein mentioned, wherein and
26
whereby said defendants have agreed to pay and have paid to the
27
said City of Newport Beach the sum of 61500.00, and have further
•

agreed to pay to Roland Thompson for services rendered and to be
29
rendered in this action on behalf of said city the sum of 6150.00
•

attorney's fees, and that title be quitted in them on their
31
cross- complaint, subject, however, to the matters in said Stipula-
32
tion mentioned, be and the same is hereby approved and the I:Iayor

and City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach are authorized,
directed and instructed_to approve in writing the Stipulation this
day presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
on behalf of said City of Nevaoort Beach.
