RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the War Department of the United States has
this day presented to the City of Newport Beach, Supplemental
Agreement No. 1 to Lease W04- 193 -eng -6253, dated October 10th,
1945, to eliminate and release Parcel No. 2 containing approx-
imately two and one -third (2 1/3) acres of land and reduce the
rental thereof, and to add 19984 acres of land described in said
Supplemental Agreement, required by the Government,and in-
creasing the rental thereof; and
WHEREAS, the condition of the Supplemental Agreement
provides for a rental of X300.00 per month for Parcel No. 1,
containing 3 acres of land, together with improvements, and a
rental of $325.00 per month for Parcel No. 2, containing 1.984
acres of land, together with improvements, making a total rental
of $625.00 per month for said Parcels Nos. 1 and 2, as described
in said Supplemental Agreement No. 1; and
WHEREAS, said Supplemental Agreement No. 1 is in all itsl
covenants and conditions fair, just and adequate, and the con-
sideration therefor is in the opinion of the City Council suffi-
cient under the law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be authorized, directed and
instructed to execute said Supplemental Agreement No. 1 on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day
of December, 1945, by the following vote, to -wit:
