2 Y ZREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
3 Council of the City of Newport Beach a license agreement dated
4 the _day of �, 1946, wherein the City of Newport BeaO
5 is the Party of the First Part, and George C. Hiner is the Party of
6 the Second part; and
7 YMBREAS, said license agreement provides that in con -
8 sideration of the sum of $500.000 payable as in said license agree-
9 ment set forth, the First Party grants to the Second Party, upon
10 the terms and conditions therein set forth, the right to sell live
11 bait upon the ier opposite gain Street in that
p pp portion of the City
12 of Newport Beach known as Balboa, for the term of five years; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of,Newport Beach
14 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
15 license agreement be granted to the Party of the Second Part;
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
17 Clerk of the. City of Newport Beach be, and,they are hereby directs
18
authorized and instructed to execute said license agreement in the
19 name of, and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution

was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the-City Council of
23
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting-thereof held on the
