1 WHEREAS, ROGER S WATSCH and VIOLA A WATSON, husband and wife
• 2 as joint tenants, has this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the a-au of
3 $777077 for Lot 13, Block 18, First Addition to Newport Heights, in the City of
4 Newport Beach, as shown on a Lap recorded in Book j, Page 27 of Miscellaneous
5 'maaw, records of Orange County, California; and
6 UHERPAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as and for

7 the purchase price of said lot; and
8 . WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems
9 that it is for the beet interests of said City that said property be sold for tb�
10 said am of $777.77; and

11 ;I WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair, and adequate and is

disproportionate to the real value of the property abovedescribed,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED8 That said property be sold to

the said ROGER S WATSON and VIOLA A WATSON, husband and wife as joint tenants,
15
I1for the elan of $ 777.77, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to second
16
half of 1946 -1947 taxes only, Also subject to conditions, restrictions and
17
reservations of record, The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorised and
18
directed to execute and deliver a deed:for the said property to the said party
19
µpon receipt of the consideration above set forth,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEDB That the sum of $77,78 be paid to

W. BRIGGS, as and for his commission for the negotiating of the sale of

22
said real property to ROGER S WATSON and VIOLS A WATSON, husband and wife as

Joint tenants, the said sum being €a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed,

n said sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport
25
isach.
