RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, JAMES C HOWARD, a married man, as his separate
property, has this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of
$1610.00 for:
Lot 6 in Block 7 of aEast NewportO, as shown on a flap recorded
in Book 3, page 37 of Miscellaneous Flaps, records of Orange
County, California, excepting that portion thereof described
as follows:

Beginning at a point in the Southerly line of said Lot distant
thereon 5 feet Easterly from the Southwesterly corner of said
Lot, said point being the beginning of a curve concave Elortherly
and having a radius of 25 feet and a central angle of 900;
thence Northeasterly along the arc of said curve 39.25 feet to
the end of said curve, being a point in the Easterly line of
said Lot; thence Southerly along the Easterly line of said Lot,
25 feet to the Southeasterly corner of said Lot, and thence
Westerly along the Southerly line Of said Lot, 25 feet to the
point of beginning.
AREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as and for
the purchase price of said lot; and
WHEREAS, the City Council Council of the City of Nevport Beach
dooms that it is for the best interests of said City that said property be
sold for the said sum of $1610.00; and
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair, and adequate and is not
to the real value of the property above described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be cold to
C. HOWARD, a married man, as his separate property, for the sum of
21 '$1610.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to second half of

22 1946-1947 taxes only. Also subject to conditions, restrictions, and reservations
23 of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorised end directed to i
24 execute and deliver a deed for the said property to the said party upon

of the consideration above set forth.
BE IT FU RTHER RESOLV=1 That the sum of $161.00 be paid to the
REALTY CO„ as and for their commission for negotiating of the sale
said real property to JAMES C. HOWARD, a married man, as his separate
the seam being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said
end said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of Newport Beach at a

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and ::iaintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 3417 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 13th day of January 9 1947, by the following
