RESOLUTION N0. 3420
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement
between the CALIFORNIA STATE PERSONNEL BOARD, as First Party,
and the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, as Second Party, dated the
13th of January, 1947, wherein and whereby the second party
awarded to the first party on the 13th day of January, 1947, the
contract for the furnishing of certain services in connection
with Civil Service examinations upon the terms and conditions
and for the consideration in said agreement set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city, that
said contract be awarded to the party of the first part upon the
terms, conditions and consideration therein mentioned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hreby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said agreement
in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and
that the City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the
party of the first part therein named.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council

of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 13th day of January, 1947, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen, Isbell, Reed
Robertson,Siler

the foregoing Resolution No. 3420 was duly and

said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
