RESOLUTION NO ?�M
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, that angular parking be prohibited on all portions of the
State Highway within the City of Newport Beach, known as Highway
101 Alternate, and sometimes referred to as "Coast Boulevard ",
in said City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that no person shall park or
leave standing any vehicle at the curb or edge of a state high-
way unless both right wheels of the vehicle are within 18 inches
of the curb or edge of such highway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the
City of Newport Beach shall paint along said highway the stalls
which shall be used for parallel parking and that appropriate
signs be posted along said highway, reading to the effect that
parallel parking is prohibited between the points herein
specified.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be
passed in accordance with the provisions of the Traffic Ordinance
of the City of Newport Beach, being Ordinance No. 345 of said
City, which ordinance regulates traffic upon the public streets
and repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith.
