RESOLUTION NO. �
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Quitclaim Deed
dated the 23rd day of January, 1947 from JOHN THOMAS STO'UERS and
LOIS RUTH STOWERS, husband and wife, to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
a municipal corporation of the sixth class, quitclaiming to the
City of Newport Beach all that certain real property situated in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
and more particularly described as follows, to wit:
All of Lots One (1) to Sixteen (16), both
inclusive, in Block A -37, of Corona Del
Mar, also that portion of Block "B" of
Corona Del Mar, lying between the South-
erly prolongation of the most I^Jesterly
side of Lot Eight (E) in said Block A -37
and the Southerly prolongation of the
most Easterly side of Lot One (1) in
said Block A -37, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 3, Pages 41 and 42 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman Allen, made a motion, duly
seconded by Councilman Isbell and carried, that said Quitclaim
Deed be accepted by the City of Newport Beach and that the City
Clerk be instructed to record the same forthwith with the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
to wit:
That said motion was carried by the following vote,
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Allen, Isbell, Robertson, Siler
Reed
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
I hereby certify the above to be a true and correct
excerpt of the minutes of the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 24th
day of February, 1947.
