RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, Helen E. Grace, a married woman, as her separate property
has this day offered to the CITY OF NW(MT BEACH, the sum of $2000.00 for
Lot 19, Block 22, Newport Beach Tract, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 3, page 26 of Miscellaneous !taps, records of Orange
5 County, California; and,
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as and for the
7 purchase price of said lot; and,
8 1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems that
9 it is for the best interests of said City that said property be sold for the
10 said sum of $2000.00; and,
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair, and adequate and is not
12 disproportionate to the teal value of the property above described..
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDs That said property be sold to the
14 said Helen E. Grace, a married woman, as her separate property
15 for the sum of $2000.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
16 taxes for the fiscal year 1947 -48. Also subject to conditions, restrictions
17 d reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
18 land directed to execute and deliver a deed for the said property to the said
19 arty upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
20 II BE IT FMTHER RESOLVEDF That the sum of $10.00 be paid to
219. B. Foote, as and for his commission for the negotiating of the sale of said
22 real property to Helen E. Grace, a married woman, as her separate property
23 the said sum being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale,
24 and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
25 I Hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was duly
26 and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
27 each, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 24th day of February,'.

the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 24th day of February 9 1947, by the following
vote, to wit:
