RESOLUTION N0,
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation,
on October 31, 1947, filed a Complaint to Quiet Title in the
Superior Court of Orange County, against Lena M. Quenby, et al,
being Action No. 49085, covering property in the City of Newport
Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows
Lot 23 in Block 138, River Section, as
per Map thereof in Book 4, Page 25 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange
County, California.
and
WHEREAS, the said Lena M. Quenby has executed a Quitclaim
Deed to the City of Newport Beach, dated December 23, 1947, and
covering the above - described property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has accepted said Quitclal
Deed; and has paid the said Lena IVI. Quenby the aum of $25.00 there-
for;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said Quitclaim Deed
aforesaid be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City of New-
port Beach, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized, directed and
instructed to record said Quitclaim Deed immediately in the office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th
day of January, 1948, by the following vote, to -wit:
