RESOLUTION NO
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement dated the
day of , 1947, wherein the City of New-
Port Beach is the Party of the First Part, and George C. Himer is
the Party of the Second Part; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement provides that in consideration of
the sum of $1800.00, payable as in said Agreement set forth, the
First Party grants to the Second Party, upon the terms and condi-
tions therein set forth, the right to conduct a lunch stand on the
pier opposite McFadden Place in the City of Newport Beach, for the
term of 3 years; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion and judgment of the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach, said Agreement should be executed
as presented;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby, directsd,
authorized and instructed to execute said Agreement in the name of,
and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly passed and.adopted by the City Council of the
